Golden Birthday, Golden Memories.

Today is my golden birthday, well if you don't know, don't google it because I have, it is basically that birthday when your birth date and age coincides. So on this 22nd February I turn 22 and it's my golden birthday 🎉! With the golden birthday what I recall are the golden memories of my birthdays so far. As a kid there were always butterflies in my stomach before and on birthdays. It felt like the most important day in the year, but over the years it is just like any other day. But now there are so many memories to recall on birthdays that the feeling of any other day goes into the background and the good old days take the front seat! In the early 2000's the birthday parties had a different charm altogether. The house was full with kids ranging from 2 year old's to 20 year old's. Back then we did not know about the generation gap or boomers/ millennial's / Gen Zs. So everybody gathered for everyone' s birthday 🥳 . This reminds me of all my birthdays ...

The little gift box🎁!

The Ryanite Nostalgia! Yesterday while driving around the city, I saw a Christmas procession with a lot of Santa’s on the truck, road and on their scooties. With Christmas round the corner, I recall the best Christmas celebrations that we used to have in school. Just before the Christmas week we mostly had our exams in school so post that we were all relaxed and ready to celebrate, enjoy and rejoice before we had almost a week's holiday, probably the best time in school. It used to start with carol singing compe...

Bappa Morya!

Today it's 20th just one day before the fourth blog would come out as all the blogs are released on 22nd and I was worried the entire day because usually the blogs are ready well in advance but this time I started to write one blog but couldn't finish it the way I wanted to so I scrapped it. So in the evening while having  talk with Mom over a cup of coffee ☕,I told her maybe this month I will skip as I did not get any story but she insisted me to be consistent and gave me the idea for this blog.  She asked me to write about the Ganpati Festival. So I can say that at the end it's always ‘Bappa Morya’ who comes to the rescue. PS: This is not a sound pollution, water pollution or air pollution blog ! After two years of celebrating festivals in the pandemic, finally this time it felt like old normal. The actual normalcy was retained in every possible way. Ganpati Bappa's arrival is in itself so divine and much awaited. It's like the homecoming of a family...
