The Fourth Seat!

The fourth Seat  (Picture Credit: Pintrest) Fourth seat of the train and life. The Mumbai locals have enumerable stories to tell.  There are so many aspects that can be explored and written but my favorite of all is the fourth seat. So, for a Mumbaikar this is a common term, but for those who don't know let me explain. Like Mumbai local train is called the lifeline of Mumbai, fourth seat is the ventilator, yes this is because when you get in the train and all seats are preoccupied you ask the person sitting on the third place to shift and the little place on the edge of the seat is The Fourth Seat.   The fourth seat has its own importance so much so that people even reserve it beforehand from those occupying it. So when you are kind of late or if the train is late or if yours is a middle station then most probably the fourth seat is what you get. Sahii Re Sahii!!

It was a windy Friday evening because of the onset of cyclone Biparjoy and I was headed to watch the very famous and long running in theaters Marathi play(natak) "Sahii Re Sahii"! It was a laugh riot. From the very beginning to the end it just keeps you hooked, intrigued and in an awe of what's happening on the stage. The protagonist is played by the brilliant Bharat Jadhav who right from his entry echoing with clapping crowd to the closing of curtains with a standing ovation of the audience completely encapsulates your attention all along. With the advent of OTT the patience and concentration while watching content is definitely reduced but when you get a chance on a windy Friday evening to catch a play, don't miss it, because nothing is equivalent to see such multi-talented bunch of actors performing live. No replay, no forward , no pause, 100 percent concentration from both the ends makes it so much therapeutic. I was surprised by the fact that I did not see my wat...

One Last Time....

With this blog we complete a year of blogging and no this is not the last blog but probably my last blog about college life, as now it's over. After writing the preceding line I just couldn't believe that it's for real that it's over. When I entered my college for the first time on the first day I was mesmerized by its sheer grandeur and spectacular architecture. The semi-circular construction just makes your head held high and stare at its subtle perfection. The view is simply unmissable! On the last day, everyone entered the college for that one last time in the tension of writing the last exam of Engineering. But this last exam was not like any other last exam where we used to be happy about a semester ending or a year ending because this was the end game for our graduation. There were mixed feelings, no one was happy about the exams being over instead we were all sad that there is no next reopening date to look forward to, no more scary vivas and practicals, no mo...
